Bali’s Big Eco Weekend 2019

July 27th 2019. ROLE Foundation participated in Bali’s Big Eco Weekend 2019 supported by Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia and Quiksilver Indonesia. This eco weekend aim for education and awareness to public about environmental challenges in Bali targeting tourists and local communities. It was held on Double Six Beach at Seminyak start from 7 am until 7 pm where many NGOs and Local Businesses showed their product.

We showcase our programs and projects and eco products such as Soap Upcycling, scarves from Traditional Weaving, Environmental education program, and Jamu, a herbal drink from various herbs and spices for healthy body. Apart from that we also did some ruffle with main prize hand-woven rang-rang scarf.

During afternoon Beach Clean Up was held at Seminyak Beach which our staffs and students from Bali WISE participated in. After that there was Baby Sea Turtle Release and awardee announcement announced. We won the first prize for Community Booth Competition.
