Students from the Environmental Ambassadors and Teach the Teachers program had an introduction in the making of liquid fertilizers. Non-chemical liquid fertilizers are an alternative to chemical fertilizers and improve the soil conditions in a natural, non harming way. Made from fresh manure, kitchen ashes, flower petals, leaves from the teak and the gamal tree, living soil and water liquid fertilizers are a cheap, sustainable and organic way to increase the growth of many plants.
Those workshops are also open to anyone who is interested. Advanced booking is required, fees apply.
