This section is a very fun part of our park. Our plant nursery provides organic fresh food which it will be taken straight to the kitchen. So that, the staff, kids and guest can be able to eat healthy food. We are promoting to raise awareness on healthy life standards. Also, it can benefiting the students on School Eco-Training program. They will learn how to grow plants, take the plant’s pot and put them in the ground to flourish with the recycle matter added.
Seed bank provides several seeds which we have collected, we want to support the conservation of local plantation species. On this area, kids will be taught how to seedling and make seedballs in our school eco-training program, teaching the kids to do permaculture and growing trees at the Plant Nursery section.
Beside the plant nursery, we have an aquaponic in the middle of the eco-park. It is a symbiotic system meant to grow fish and plants as a demonstration for sustainable business. Aquaponic creates nutritients rich water transformed from the waste or would have been filtered costly. This system uses less water and energy.
Natural Dyes Hut
We build an outdoor building where the dying process, one weaving has been produced per each day with natural colors, the colors made from plants such as ketapang, secang, jati and indigo. Through the natural dyes, we help to occur employing for local people.
Our kitchen provides fresh organic food, no GMO, from the Plant Nursery. It is located on the top of the park, therefore, the guests, eco-training participants, or everybody can enjoy the Bali view while eating healthy. The kitchen style is outdoor and eco-friendly. We want to teach the students healthy lifestyle on our eco-training program.
Front Door & Organic Wall
We currently still have no front door at the eco-park, while the wall has been built and it is made from organic carving which we have collected from inside the park.
Off-Grid Solar System
Our power source use solar system at the eco-park, including electricity, machinery, and kitchen. The irradiation will be taken from the sun into the solar panel when it is sunny, if the sun is not shinning, the energy will be substituted by solar battery which has been charged.
This section will be used for classroom on school eco-training program. This a spot for the guest or participants gathering, learning, and playing games. The amphitheater is outdoor and located on the top of the park, while the students studying about permaculture, they can also see Plant Nursery, Aquaponic, and everything from the top. Also, enjoying the Bali view.
Zero Waste Machinery
This section will be the next step after the washing system. When the waste materials will be cleaned, they will be shredded into small parts, so that we can change the form into valuable products, supporting sustainable business. The products can be bottles, cardboards, papers, glass, etc. We teach the students that trash is a good opportunity for sustainable business.
Sustainable Business Hut
We have built an outdoor building where guests can be able to see our business production and the process. We are producing beautiful organic weaving with natural colors. Through this sustainable business, we are employing the local people.
This technology is a cycle, it helps to collect the water from the kitchen and toilet waste which full of nutrients and transfered to the agricultural use or our food which is the Plant Nursery. It aims to reduce waste at eco-park as low as possible.
Our kitchen uses biogas technology as the renewable cooking fuel, we support and invest an environmentally friendly future. From the organic and liquid waste, such as kitchen waste, faeces, urine, agricultural waste, and waste water. The waste that has been digested exits the biogas system in the form of organic fertiliser.
This section will be used to clean Recyclable Waste (RW) only. First, we collect the waste, and classify them into three; non-recyclable waste, recyclable waste and organic waste. After washing the RW material, the clean waste will be separated and shredded, then goes to our kitchen or sustainable business activity.
