On the evening of December 1, 2024, R.O.L.E. Foundation hosted the highly anticipated ROLE Model Charity Gala Dinner & Awards Night 2024 at The Candi Ballroom of The Apurva Kempinski Bali. This elegant masquerade-themed event brought together over 300 guests to support two critical causes: the Bali WISE Program and the ZeroWaste Center. The gala raised an impressive Rp411,458,464, a testament to the generosity and commitment of the community.
Honoring Changemakers Across Indonesia
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the ROLE Model Awards Night, recognizing extraordinary individuals who are making a significant difference in their communities. The awards celebrated achievements across three impactful categories:
Inspiring Change Maker of the Year
This category honored individuals whose innovative approaches and tireless efforts have led to transformative changes in their communities. The recipients, Ewa Wojkowska, Kim Farr, and Maria Smith, embody the spirit of leadership and compassion.
Business Owner of the Year
This category highlighted entrepreneurs who have not only achieved business success but also made meaningful contributions to society through ethical and sustainable practices. Honorees Dean Keddell and Aniek Ayu Puspawardani exemplify how businesses can drive positive social and economic impact.
Environmental Conservation and Stewardship
Dedicated to champions of environmental preservation, this category celebrates individuals who have taken extraordinary steps to protect and nurture the natural world. Awardees Joseph Arjuna Wijaya and Pariama Hutasoit are shining examples of environmental advocacy and action.
A Night of Elegance and Impact
The event began with a vibrant cocktail reception, where attendees mingled and admired the enchanting masquerade-themed event. The evening unfolded with a gourmet dinner, captivating live performances, and an exciting live and silent auction featuring exclusive items and experiences. Also fun games with a lot of raffle prizes and instant winners.
The funds raised will support the Bali WISE Educational Program, empowering marginalized women through vocational training in hospitality and tourism, and the ZeroWaste Center, which fosters environmental education and sustainable waste management.
